Empress Guifei's Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • chicken wings - 10 pcs.

  • dried shiitake mushrooms - 5 pcs.

  • green onions - a few feathers

  • ginger root - 1 cm

  • sugar - 1 tablespoon

  • red wine - 20 ml.

  • chicken broth - 100 ml.

  • olive oil "ideal" - 2 tbsp.

  • soy sauce - 2 tablespoons

  • salt -

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut off the third phalanges of the wings - you can cook broth from them.

The remaining two phalanges are also cut at the junction.

Dried shiitake mushrooms (you can use fresh shiitake or mushrooms - 150g) soak in hot water or broth for 30-40 minutes.

Chop the onion and fry half of it in olive oil (1 tablespoon) in a preheated pan, add peeled and chopped ginger.

Then put the wings in a frying pan, fry them for 4 minutes, then add sugar, soy sauce and fry the wings until golden brown.

Chop the soaked mushrooms and fry with the remaining onions and olive oil in a pan.

Transfer the chicken wings to a saucepan, add the fried mushrooms, pour in the broth, wine, salt and simmer over low heat for 35-40 minutes.
